Vendor Rules
All vendors are unofficial representatives of Kids Comedy Korner and directly impact the participant experience. Please adhere to the following standards to help ensure a smooth, enjoyable event for all.
Arrival, Setup & Breakdown
-
Vendors must arrive on time. Late arrivals may be denied entry with no refund.
-
Setup begins 2:00PM. Breakdown starts at 6:30 PM.
-
Each vendor is provided a 10x10 space. All setup (tents, tables, chairs, etc.) must fit within this area. Vendors are responsible for supplying their own tents, umbrellas, tables, chairs, and any other items needed for their setup.
-
Grid walls are allowed only if they fit within a 6-foot table space.
-
Vendors are responsible for their own setup and teardown. Staff will not assist.
Conduct & Behavior
-
Vendors must follow staff instructions and maintain professionalism at all times.
-
Aggressive, offensive, or abusive behavior toward staff, vendors, or guests will result in immediate dismissal without a refund.
-
If issues arise with other participants, alert event staff for assistance.
Cleanliness & Safety
-
Leave your space clean—equal to or better than how it was received.
-
Use proper tent/umbrella weights at outdoor events, regardless of weather. Non-compliance will result in removal with no refund.
-
Dispose of waste properly. Avoid dumping food in breakroom or bathroom sinks.
Prohibited Items
The following are not permitted for sale or display:
-
Firearms, weapons, knives
-
Alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, cannabis, or paraphernalia
-
Hazardous, restricted, or trademark-infringing items
Illegal sales (e.g., counterfeit goods) will result in immediate suspension. Vendors are fully responsible for their merchandise.
Sales & Responsibility
-
KCK does not guarantee audience size or sales volume.
-
Vendors handle their own transactions and retain 100% of profits.
-
KCK is not responsible for damage, theft, or unattended items.
Vendor Fees & Discounts
-
Payment is due within 24 hours of invoicing. Unpaid spots will be released.
-
Indoor vendors participating multiple weeks may receive a discounted fee after application submission.
No Shows & Cancellations
-
Vendors who cancel or fail to show will have future participation reviewed case-by-case.
-
Refunds are not issued. Cancellations made 72+ hours before the event may transfer their fee to a future event. Late cancellations forfeit the fee.
-
Events that are rescheduled will result in credit for a future event.
Food Vendors
-
Cottage food vendors must have proper permits and insurance, including a Nye County permit.
Licensing & Insurance
-
Vendors must comply with proper regulations, including providing a valid business license and seller's permit if requested by officials.
-
Liability insurance is highly recommended to cover potential loss or damage.
Parking & Facilities
-
Parking is available at the back/dirt area of the venue. Do not park in front of the building.
-
Restrooms open when staff arrives—typically 1 hour before the event starts.
-
Outdoor vendors may be set up earlier; indoor vendors must wait for staff placement.
